When Meheck was born, her parents named her Deepa Gul Lilani. Her name changed after marriage as per her family traditions. So she had a chance to choose her own name - Meheck. Meheck – meaning fragrance in Hindi - resonated with her more as her last birth before her human birth was as a Jasmine flower. She acquired her last name through her second marriage when she married Rajesh Mukherjee. His soul departed the earthly realm but she kept the name as she felt like it was always meant to come to her.

Meheck was born in Mulund, Mumbai, India.

Mostly in Mumbai all through her childhood, Indian values, culture and Sanskrit chants were part of Meheck’s childhood.

Genetically speaking, Meheck is 100% Indian. Her ancestors were residing in the Sind Province of now Pakistan and they migrated to Mumbai, India during the Indo-Pak partition which contributed to the generational complex trauma. Her parents were both born in now India.

Meheck follows a largely vegan, gluten free, and sugar free. She doesn’t consume processed foods and does not drink alcohol or coffee.

Meheck has three tattoos. On her right wrist a combination of symbols – Om, Lifeline, Heart describing the essence of all existence. On her left lower leg she has an angel devil tattoo representing duality as the truth of all existence. And a third one, a spine tattoo that has symbols such as the Enzo Circle, Hamsa, 3 Moon, Infinity, merkaba, yinyang, celtic triquetra, celtic star, lotus and unalome.

Music, meditation, cooking, horses, travelling, driving around countryside, many forms of art, being with animals, board games, movies, watching football.

Meheck especially loves instrumental Indian ragas and listens to them everyday. She specially loves the flute renditions. Meheck prefers to listen to original acoustic music than electronic. She does have her favorites in Indian singers like Asha Bhosale, A.R. Rehman, Arijit Singh and Diljit.

Diwali! Meheck absolutely loves the celebration of Diwali, the lights, the rangoli colours and the festivities of Diwali. Holi -her second favourite as the festival of colours, love and spring. It symbolises true oneness as people forgive all old woes and renew relationships. She participates in the fire ceremony signifying the triumph of good or evil a day prior too.

Meheck loves to wind down with a movie ever so often. She has enjoyed Harry Potter series, Dr. Strange, Inception, Pride and Prejudice, Jumanji, Home Alone Series. Closer home Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is her favourite and she watches many of his movies on repeat – PK, 3 Idiots, Taare Zameen Par, Rang De Basanti. She also likes Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and can watch most of these movies again and again.

Meheck is a morning person. She usually gets up before everyone else, when it is still dark outside. She meditates a few hours daily and then follows the guidance of the day. She is unattached to doing and allows the universe to use her physical existence to fulfil the bigger purpose. She flows through the day as guided – relaxed or active energetic.

Yes. Meheck has one son. He was born on March16th, 2005. And his name is Vansh.

Meheck prefers to keep the focus on her present moment rather than on the distraction of the details of her personal life or past. That being said, being at her level of consciousness, exclusivity is not in alignment with her being. She prefers to have close partnerships and meaningful relationships with key people in her life. She believes people come in life to fulfil a purpose and leave when that is completed.
